Bunbury is home to the largest timber treatment facility in Western Australia. 

South West Personnel is currently recruiting for casual Timber Labourers to kickstart their career locally with an opportunity to be part of the local timber industry. 

You will contribute to providing preservative treated timber utility poles to be distributed throughout WA’s utility network.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of general labouring and mobile plant tasks within the timber plant.

We are seeking enthusiastic, industrial experienced individuals to train on the job, these positions can provide ongoing work and full-time hours for best fit candidates.

It is essential that you are able to:

• Use initiative to undertake general labouring tasks that require physical fitness and agility
• Work autonomously and safely once trained on the job
• Confidently communicate at all levels to ensure productive plant operations
• Understand and follow site safe working instructions
• Attend for D&A and pre-employment medical prior to commencement

A current high risk forklift (LF) licence and/or loader ticket (LL) is desirable and a construction white card essential.
