South West Personnel has been engaged by IRONMAN to assist with the assemble and disassemble of event structures such as marquees, bike racks, temporary fencing, road markings, event signage for the safe and organised management of the annual IRONMAN event being held in Busselton on Sunday, 1st December 2024 .

Working in teams you will be supervised and instructed on the manual handling required to assemble event equipment pre-event and pack down post-event based at Barnard Park and Busselton foreshore locations.

• Event assembly will commence on Thursday, 21-Nov-24 through to Thursday, 28-Nov-24 (no weekend work)
• IRONMAN EVENT TAKES PLACE ON SUNDAY, 1-Dec-24
• Event pack down will commence on Monday, 2-Dec-24 through to Wednesday, 4-Dec-24

To be considered for this casual work you must:

• Hold a construction white card
• Have a valid and current driver’s licence with own reliable transport, manual C-Class, well regarded
• Preferably be available for ALL required dates, however we still want to hear from you if only available for work before or after IRONMAN event
• Understand safe work practices with the ability to listen and ask questions relevant to work instructions provided
• Be capable and motivated with the stamina to work outdoors in a physical capacity undertaking a variety of manual handling activities
• Previous experience in event setup or similar hands on role, well regarded
• Bring a positive, can-do attitude with the willingness to work collaboratively in a team to ensure successful event delivery
• Have steel cap boots in good condition and be willing to undertake a random Drug & Alcohol screen
• Holding a High risk forklift/LF licence + telehandler and/or MR licence will be highly regarded however not essential

This work would be well suited to candidates residing local to the Busselton / Dunsborough / Bunbury region who are seeking work over the Christmas/New Year holiday period or on University break.
