South West Personnel are seeking the services of experienced Chainsaw Operators who are immediately available to assist with the cross-cut sawing technique of fallen timber (treated and untreated).  This is critical work to assist with housekeeping at the Picton Treatment Facility to maximise volume and quality recovery within designated stockpiles of timber. 

Candidates must be formally trained or experienced to safely operate and maintain a chainsaw with the skills and knowledge to cross-cut fallen timber and other cutting techniques to comply with mandatory codes of practice and relevant legislation.

Other Essential Criteria:

• Hold white card
• Current and valid C-Class minimum drivers licence
• Competence in the operation of small plant and equipment
• Positive communicator with the ability to understand instruction and ask questions to clarify if uncertain
• Working knowledge of WHS Act and practices to ensure a safe working environment
