South West Personnel are currently recruiting for the next intake of Experienced Mobile Plant Operators, engagement will commence on a casual basis through South West Personnel however for hard working, reliable operators who are easily able to align with the South32 safety culture and behavioural expectations permanent employment opportunities are possible.

Current vacancies with immediate starts are available for experienced, and competent Mining Operators familiar with all operational requirements of safely operating a Rigid Dump Truck CAT 785, Excavator or D11 Dozers in varying conditions. 

To be considered you will:

• Have demonstrated experience with the Heavy Machinery listed above, or similar within an open pit production mining environment
• Be a quick learner to demonstrate competency through safe work practices and operating procedures
• Understand the demands of mining productivity to work safely without compromising on safety guarantee
• Be willing to undertake a pre-employment mining medical and random AOD testing as alerted
• Have full availability to work a continuous shift roster involving 12 hour shifts – days/nights/weekends
• Hold a current WA driver’s licence
• If shortlisted, agree to attend registration interview and pre-employment medical in Bunbury plus client interview at the Boddington Mine Site
• Provide current CV, clearly indicating dates of employment/employers and providing names and contact details of at least two recent work referees
• Full working rights in Australia

Only candidates meeting the experience level required and those who reside within 1 hours driving distance to Boddington will be considered for these vacancies. 

Note:  There are buses that run from surrounding district to meet fatigue travel management policy.
