The Role:

South West Personnel currently have casual work opportunities available for Mine Site Labourers to assist with upcoming surface mine drilling operations. 
You will be accountable to assist in the safe, organised and efficient operation of daily drill works by assisting the Drill Team with repetitive manual handling operations such as rod handling, basic rig maintenance, bagging samples and mobilisation and demobilisation of drill rigs from sites.
Applicants will need a demonstrated solid labouring background as the work is physically and mentally demanding and well suited to work hardened candidates that have the endurance and resilience to perform under demands of long hours, harsh weather conditions, confined spaces, dust and other environmental challenges that an outdoors mining environment can bring.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must reside local to Boddington or surrounds – DIDO only
• Physically fit and reliable with demonstrated capability of repetitive manual handling through physical strength, sample bags do have weight behind them
• Mechanical aptitude, strong listening and problem solving skills will be essential elements to succeed within this role
• Familiar with keyboard data entry of drill sample information
• Ability to complete repetitive work with full safety focus and awareness of surroundings
• Willingness to successfully complete a robust mining medical inclusive of functional capacity and DAS
