This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accurate, high volume data entry input of weekly timesheets
- Processing new starters and payroll changes; prepare payroll tax
- Develop an understanding of a variety of Fair Work Awards and conditions of employment to ensure data validity
- Respond to enquiry from employees, clients and management along with meeting payroll reporting and KPI targets
- Answering phones and relaying accurate messages
- Electronic filing, incoming and outgoing mail and other general administrative duties, as required
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience working within a financial, payroll environment
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate numeracy recount
- Ability to prioritise, plan and communicate effectively with staff, candidates and clients at all levels
- Flexibility in workload with the ability to adjust with team requirements weekly
- Knowledge of working with EAs, Awards and employment contracts, advantageous
