A permanent vacancy has become available, an excellent opportunity for a quick, enthusiastic learner to develop a career with opportunity to learn all administrative functions required for successful end to end boutique housing builds. 

This is a role where attitude to work and learning is as important as technical ability.  There is a dedicated training program on offer and opportunity for advancement for best fit candidate.

Initial focus will be on learning the work of the maintenance liaison contact.  This work requires a mature and professional approach to communication with a natural ability to plan and schedule works within timeframes that suit many stakeholders. 

Typical Tasks, but not limited to:

  • Primarily liaise with clients to record and address maintenance issues ensuring timely execution by co-ordinating trades and maintenance personnel for repair schedules to suit client/customer requirements.
  • Attention to detail when creating work orders to schedule works with maintenance contractors to ensure issuance, completion and timely return of relevant paperwork.
  • The ability to provide a professional regular update to the Construction Manager on the progress of all maintenance works.
  • Ability to multi-task with the willingness to take on and learn all aspects of the administration stages and associated documentation.
  • Flexibility to assist and provide support to a variety of senior staff, as required.

Skills & Attributes:

  • High level of competency with computer skills, particularly with professional email, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritise and plan with the ability to follow through on outstanding tasks to successful completion
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills are essential to assist and liaise professionally with clients, contractors and other building industry providers
  • Attention to detail, accuracy with the ability to proof own work
  • Reliable attendance with an open and easy going nature to happily flex to assist others in busy periods

You will need to hold a valid C-Class drivers licence with own transport.
