2nd Class Welder – Mechanical Workshop
Our client, with a mechanical workshop located in Bunbury, WA has over 30 years’ experience in heavy vehicle manufacturing, servicing, spare parts and repairs. Specialising in custom building units to suit client specific requirements.
The primary accountability of this role will be to support the general operations of the Mechanical Workshop and Manufacturing business. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team of Fabricators and Mechanics who take pride in individual and team work performance and final product delivery.
Daily tasks will include, but not limited to:
- All types of cutting and welding work
- Fitting and mechanical work on heavy transport
- Masking and preparation work for our paint shop
- Operation of forklift and overhead crane
- General workshop associated duties including housekeeping
About You:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Welding Fabrication or equivalent
- 2nd Class Welder qualifications with relevant work experience or significant experience without formal qualification, desirable
- Strong attention to detail to provide a quality level of work
- Reliable with dedicated work ethic (please provide two contactable recent work referees)
- High risk LF ticket and relevant crane tickets
- Current drivers licence
