Laboratory Technician - Experienced
South West Personnel have partnered with our valued client for the short term on-hire casual engagement of a qualified and experienced Laboratory Technician.
You will have had previous experience working within an operational/industrial Laboratory environment – preferably within mining, energy, manufacturing or similar industry.
Minimum Requirements:
- A qualification in a scientific or related discipline and/or Certificate in Laboratory Techniques, is essential
- Experience managing and preparing samples for analysis
- Ability to identify anomalies in sample type analytical results and providing fault finding assistance with the investigations of non-conformances
- Able to calibrate and maintain equipment, consumables and stock inventory control
- Familiar with undertaking analyses through classical techniques with various analytical equipment and instrumentation ICP-AES, GF-AAS, PSD, XRF (desirable)
- Quality focused with a high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and multi-task within a team environment
The successful applicant will be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and D&A testing.
These opportunities are residentially based, local to Bunbury so shortlisted applicants will reside locally and be available for registration interview at South West Personnel, Bunbury.
