Water Aid Australia is a member of WaterAid, an international non government organisation. Their Mission is to Transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.

South West Personnel submitted a team of clients and staff members to participate on the night and to our surprise we came out overall winners!!!! Great result team. As well as being a great fun filled night all together the function raised over $3,000. We are sure this will be put to good use world wide!

South West Personnel Corporate Cup

Well done to the corporate cuppers who got into the Christmas spirit this week!  South West Personnel is proud to support this fun event that runs throughout the summer months.

Special recognition for exceptional costume design goes out to the team from St John of God Hospital, the Staff at BCC and the staff at South West Personnel who came out on top with their amazing but highly impractical outfits for running around a volleyball court.

Head down to Koombana Bay, Bunbury in the start of the New Year at 5.45pm on Wednesdays to soak up the fun of the South West Personnel Corporate Cup.

Salvation Army Christmas Appeal

South West Personnel is again proud to participate in the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal by donating food hampers filled with pantry essentials.

Recent research shows that more than one third of Australian households will purchase too much food for Christmas Day.  However, there will also be thousands of Australians that will go without at least one meal on Christmas Day due to financial hardship.  On Christmas Day alone, the Salvation Army expects to celebrate Christmas with at least 8000 people who are facing disadvantage or homelessness.

RSPCA WA is a charity (not a Government agency) that relies on supporter donations to continue their lifesaving work.  Three quarters of their income is derived from donations and bequests.

South West Personnel is again proud to donate to this organisation to assist them in acheiving their Five Freedoms for Animals:

  • Freedom from hunger and thirst
  • Freedom from discomfort
  • Freedom from pain, injury and disease
  • Freedom to express normal behaviour
  • Freedom from fear and distress.
Royal Flying Doctor Service

The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, they deliver extensive primary health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live, work and travel throughout Australia.

Over the past 12 months, the RFDS (Western Operations) has transported more than 8,600 sick and injured patients, conducted just under 2500 rural and remote clinics, undertook over 6,000 flights and in total flew a staggering 7.9 million kilometres – the equivalent of 10 times to the moon and back!

South West Personnel is always keen to support such essential services by means of donation.

RSPCA Cupcake Day 2015

Well the staff at South West Personnel certainly enjoy getting behind great causes and raising money when they can.  It is even more fun when they can create interesting looking cupcakes and eat them as well!

On Monday 17th August, the staff raised amongst themselves $88.05 to support the RSPCA Cupcake Day.  Money raised goes towards fighting animal cruelty and assists in giving mistreated animals a second chance.

An interesting array of cupcakes were created with our Junior Administration Assistant Jacinta Biddiscombe coming out the winner with a cute little owl cupcake.

A big thank you to our Receptionist Amy Morgan for organising this fundraising event and providing the assortment of decorations and cupcake bases.  I am sure the team will look forward to next year’s event!
